Product Description

The US Army is Beamon’s life. His squad is made up of men he is proud to lead. Over the year or two they have been together, they have become close friends. While in , their unit is sent up Hill 937. Eric is wounded and awakens in the hospital to find all his men, his friends, have been killed. Eric suffers from survivor remorse. He returns home to an unfriendly welcome. When he reaches his home, things have changed there as well. Eric’s life doesn’t make sense anymore.
Eric wanders the country for many years before meeting another survivor of Hill 937 who tells him of The Wall in Washington DC, a Vietnam Memorial which has all the names of the fallen engraved in the black granite. The time has come for Eric to face his fallen comrades and friends. This is his struggle.

About the Author

Jayson is retired and lives in beautiful Colorado with his wife and best friend, Mattie. He enjoys reading and writing. It truly is a labor of love. This is his first short story paperback and he intends to do many more. He has several short stories as e-books on and is working on a fiction novel about lost Civil War treasure and one about an elf detective from another world. His interests are many as his books will indicate as he put more out for your enjoyment.
