About the Author

Having spent his teenage years during the late 1960's and early 1970's, there were many obstacles and barriers to overcome living a secret life "in the closet" was not as accepting back then and one's being gay had to remain in the closet. We did not have the opportunities to discuss with friends and family our sexual orientation. We had to endure the vulgar and derogatory name calling that is not used to the same extent today. It was difficult to know who to trust and who not to. Being gay back then, society just did not understand. Contact the author at robfrenchaz@gmail.com.
